Ingrédients :

200g de chocolat à pâtisser
4 gros œufs
200g de margarine végétale (ou de beurre)
1 càs de farine
150g de sucre
1 cm de gingembre frais

Mettez votre four à préchauffer à 180°C (thermostat 6).
Dans un bain-marie, faites fondre le chocolat coupé en morceaux avec la margarine. Quand le tout est bien fondu, lissez et laissez refroidir.

Pendant ce temps, cassez les œufs dans un cul-de-poule et ajoutez le sucre, puis battez jusqu'à obtenir un mélange mousseux. Quand le chocolat a bien refroidi, ajoutez-le aux œufs et mélangez délicatement pour obtenir une pâte homogène.

Épluchez et râpez le gingembre et joutez-le à l'appareil, mélangez à nouveau.

Chemisez un moule à bords assez hauts de papier sulfurisé et versez-y la préparation en prenant soin de bien remplir les coins. Enfournez pendant 25min. Laissez-le refroidir quelques minutes avant de le démouler.

Astuce :

Vous pouvez décorer ce gâteau d'un glaçage au chocolat ou d'une ganache au chocolat et au Baileys. Vous pouvez aussi le servir avec une crème anglaise ou une boule de glace à la vanille.

Avec ça, on peut boire... :

Du Sauternes pour ceux qui aiment les vins très sucrés, ou n'importe quel vin doux, moelleux ou liquoreux. Sinon, le champagne se marie également très bien avec le chocolat (dans ce cas, mieux vaut éviter de mettre le gingembre).
